Carol is getting settled in her home in Princeton Idaho. She has set up a painting corner for now. She will be starting some new pieces soon. They bought a 40 acre farm with a big old barn and a fixer upper farm house.The prosses will take a few months but Carol can still be reached through her web site as well as her Email crsaws@yahoo.com. Largely 'self taught` she admits that she is a medium junkie. She paints in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pencil. She paints on canvas, paper, masonite, wood as well as her favorite, saw blades.
Her subjects are limitless and include wildlife, seascapes, mountains, and portraits.
Her work has earned many ribbons and awards including 'Best Animal Portrait`, 'People`s Choice` and 'Best in Show` in local exhibitions multiple times.
Her art has been published on the cover of 'Looking Ahead` magazine and a local author has published a book using Carol`s art for the books jacket.

In 2002 Carol was invited to Seattle Center to participate in Folk Life Festival.
She has done countles commisions including murals, portraits, landscapes, wildlife and pets. The last 2 years her personal challenge has been to paint a portrait of each of her 10 grandchildren as a gift to each of them.
Carol Served as president of West Wind Gallery for 9 years and is a member of Far West Art League.
Carol`s work is displayed at 'The In Place Restaurant`, 'The Smoke House Restaurant" a local hotel lobby and the Olympic Memorial Hospital in Forks.
